About this Event

This 6-week Workshop will be held on Tuesday evenings from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm, starting on September 22, 2026 and ending on October 27,2026.

You will complete at least 6 projects during these 6 classes:

Projects include

1) Make a dishtowel

2) Small drawstring bag

3) Pillow case

4) Market bag

5) Lazy Pants

6) Bowl cozy

Students are encouraged to bring their own sewing machines -- it's nice to have a machine you can use at home, so bringing you own machine will allow you to sew on the same machine at home and in class. If you don't have one, we do have some sewing machines here for you to use.

For the first class, students need to bring scissors.

During the first class you will be given a list of fabric you will need for the rest of the projects.

After the first class student will need to purchase their own fabric

Note: need a minimum of 2 sign ups for class to run

Instructor: Stephanie Dauenhauer

Instructor bio: I have been teaching sewing for the last 45 years - including for Metro Nashville Adult Education Classes. I started sewing at the age of 8 and I used to sew for the public, but do not do that any more. I just love teaching people to sew!
