Sewing for a Sustainable Future: Fitting and Alterations

Saturdays: 5/23, 5/30, 6/6, 6/13, 6/20, 6/27, (No 7/4) 7/11, 7/18

Buying clothing off the rack can be challenging for anyone (most of us) who are not the same size/shape as the designer’s fit model. Learning how to measure, fit and alter a garment to properly fit your body can be a game changer. Several weeks of the class will be spent on fitting and altering students’ personal clothes brought from home.

Prerequisite: Must have a working knowledge of hand and machine stitching.
