How to help to reduce household fuel costs by creating an eco-friendly Draught excluder, using repurposed fabric stuffed with old unwanted towels, bedding, or clothing, for blocking a gap under a door or for a draughty windowsill.
You will learn how to:
Create a customised Draught excluder.
Interpret maths terminology used in the project instructions.
Calculate the length for the door/ window area required.
Identify and measure your preferred circumference (thickness).
Upcycle old household fabric items.
Use the basic functions on a domestic sewing machine.
Practice Straight stitching using the sewing machine.
Finishing hand stitches.
