Interested in learning how to sew by hand while reducing textile waste?
About this Event

Join us for a fun and relaxed beginner-friendly workshop where we'll explore the basics of hand sewing and simple upcycling techniques.
This workshop is open to women and gender-diverse folks aged 18+.
In this introductory session, participants will:


- Learn essential hand sewing skills and stitches
- Practice basic mending and repair techniques
- Discover how sewing can support a more sustainable lifestyle
- Explore creative ways to upcycle fabric scraps and old textiles
- Connect with others through discussion and hands-on learning
Participants are encouraged to bring their own materials if available, sewing needles, small fabric scraps, old clothing, or textiles they'd like to work with. Some basic sewing supplies will be available, and no previous sewing experience is required.
Snacks and refreshments will be provided.
