About this Event
This 4-week course introduces participants to the JUKI 1-Needle Lockstitch DDL-8700, industrial sewing machine through in-person practical application of machinery at the CFA Production Lab. Participants gain the practical knowledge of both moving and non-moving parts of the machine, how to thread, correctly fill and load the bobbin, and the associated tools used. Course participants practice the basics of stitching, obtaining accuracy, and how to use basic seams and sewing techniques to build any project, and upon completion will have a customized tote bag.
You must attend alll classes consecutively to complete the course****
