World of Work for 55+ Jobseekers

World of Work is a two-week, in-person career development program for jobseekers 55 and older who want to personally and professionally thrive in the next chapter of their lives and are empowered to upskill and reskill to find and sustain meaningful employment.

Join us for two weeks of winter sessions where you will learn how to:

• Redefine your core work values & goals
• Create and update your online presence
• Identify your unique transferable skills
• Refresh your interview and resume techniques
• Research new resources and job opportunities

Classes are facilitated by the New Directions team and community partners in various industries.

Be a part of a supportive and affirming program that will boost your self-confidence while preparing you for new experiences in the world of work!

Program Dates: February 24-March 7

Program Duration: Two Weeks

Class Days: Monday through Friday

Class Time: 9:30 AM – 12 PM

Program Fee: No-Cost. Yes, all we need is your commitment.

Registration Deadline: Friday, February 14 at 3pm

PLEASE NOTE: This is an in-person program. However, two of the classes will be held virtually via Zoom.
