Sew It! Beginning Sewing Series

This 4-part beginner sewing series is designed to introduce participants to the fundamentals of sewing. Over the course of four sessions, participants will learn how to operate a sewing machine and complete a simple garment project. Each session builds on the previous one to create a structured and approachable learning experience.
Each session is $30 or all 4 for $100 (scholarships available please reach out to [email protected])
Week 1 September 14 Introduction to sewing machines, threads and bobbins
Week 2 September 21 Fabrics, patterns, and cutting
Week 3 September 28 Pinning pattern pieces and beginning sewing
Week 4 October 5 Finishing the garment, including hems and drawstrings
