Sew Easy: A Practical Intro to SewingAdult Class Series at The Welman Project!
Four Week Series | Wednesdays
Apr 2 - 23 | 6:00pm-8:30pm
Calling all scared-to-sew-but-always-wanted-to-learners! If you've ever wanted to unlock the mystical magic of a sewing machine or simply mend your favorite garments, this class is tailored just for you. Participants will embark on a journey into the world of stitches, fabrics, and how you can reuse clothes that show some wear and tear. This adventure is designed for sewing beginners who may or may not have just inherited Nana’s sewing machine and may or may not be afraid of using said sewing machine. You’ll complete this course with a newfound confidence in your sewing abilities and a few sewing projects handmade by YOU!
Each week we will focus on different aspects of sewing, particularly how sewing can be used to help you reuse clothing through mending, sewing machine basics, and various other ways to incorporate sewing into reuse. No sewing experience, machine, or abilities required.
The party happens on Wednesdays Apr 2-23, from 6-8:30pm. Spots are limited, so be sure to sign up!
$250 for four weeks! 100% of your purchase helps us provide free supplies and support to thousands of teachers!
