Sew, Craft and Chat, AKA Sewing/Crafting Get Together

Sew, Craft and Chat, AKA Sewing/Crafting Get Together is on Dec. 8th, from 10 am until 8 pm! The address is 300 N. Rampart St, in the clubhouse of Park Royale Mobile Home Park in Orange, CA, 92868. Our theme is Winter Holidays! Wear your festive holiday wear, bring cards to share, 10 is suggested, and enjoy our celebration! We will have a craft table where you can decorate an ornament or two! We also will have a rack for a clothing exchange! I’ll bring a small tree to hang the ornaments on, until you take them home! 

Please join me for a constructive day to work on your own projects, engage in invigorating conversations, and have fun among fellow creative folk! This is a day to work on your own projects: come sew, paper-craft, scrapbook, paint, make gifts or costumes, do beading, leather craft, knit, crochet, organize... & a potluck!

For our potluck, there is a full kitchen, including a fridge, stoves, conventional ovens, and a microwave. We’re aiming for it to occur around 1:30 pm. There are many restaurants and fast-food places near-by, also Ralphs and Vons are within 2 miles in opposite directions on Chapman Ave.

There are tables and metal folding chairs available (I suggest you bring a pad for the seat) with electrical outlets along the walls. Each person will get use of as many tables as you would like, but keep in mind everyone is responsible for returning their tables & chairs to the carts before they leave. I’m still going to physical therapy for my back and left leg, and I would appreciate any help with clean-up that you can give, such as: sweeping, cleaning the counters, and taking the trash bag(s) to the outside bins.

There will be ‘freebies’ and ‘trade’ tables set up near the stage! What you trade with is up to you! Since we’re not allowed to ‘sell’ in the clubhouse, you could trade little green pieces of paper…(haha)  Bring clothing and items you no longer need or want, browse others items, and hopefully come away with “new” things!
