Sew and Show Up: Crafters Meet and Greet
About this Event
Wear your memade outfit, meet other sewists and exchange tips and advice while enjoying the latest exhibit at the Chrysler Museum.
If you have a garment or outfit you made that you've been waiting to show off, now's the time! Do you know others who handmake or upcycle their wardrobe? Invite them to join! This event is designed for you to meet others with similar interests and form a sewing community in the 757. If you don’t have anything handmade to wear, show up anyway! Maybe you’ll be inspired :)
We will meet at 12pm at the entrance of the Chrysler Museum to meet and greet and tour the exhibits. Then, at 1pm, we will transition to the Look and Book event which features a book discussion on The Devil Wears Prada and a guided tour of the exhibition Constellations: Contemporary Jewelry at the Dallas Museum of Art.
