Give new life to a favourite blanket by turning it into a warm and cosy hooded poncho. In this class you will learn how to transform an existing blanket into a practical garment perfect for the cooler months.During the session we will demonstrate how to plan your project, cut the blanket, and piece the sections together to create a comfortable hooded poncho. You will be guided through the construction steps so you can confidently sew your project and take home a finished piece ready to wear. Basic sewing skills are required for this class.
About the Tutor
Donna is passionate about repurposing clothing and loves to cut up opshop finds and re sew them into something new. Donna also loves to hand stitch and often incorporates this with her repurposing projects.
