This is a scenic and rewarding stretch of the trail, with plenty of classic English countryside along the route.
The day finishes in Ironbridge Gorge, widely known as the birthplace of the Industrial Revolution. Here you’ll find the world-famous The Iron Bridge — the first iron bridge ever built — standing proudly as a reminder of the river’s important industrial history.
