You have pulled the 7 of Skaters: A new year begins, ushering in a desire for new kinds of play. A fresh team is in your future. Visions of a river, and mountains....Join Gorge Roller Derby for a single-day Sevens Tournament on January 25th, 2025. Seven teams of seven skaters each will face off in a bracketed tournament of 20 minute games. Put together a competitive team of skaters from any mix of leagues, and get ready to play! All teams are guaranteed a minimum of 2 games in this double elimination tournament.
Tournament/game rules:
WFTDA rule set, open gender
One 20 minute period per game
1 timeout per game per team, which can be used as an official review
A skater will be ejected upon receiving a 4th penalty
Each team chooses a team color and theme for the entire tournament
Double elimination bracket
$210 team registration fee
All registration funds will be devoted directly to helping the GRD All Stars team travel this season. Registration deadline is December 14th.
