A series of Monday choir workshops of acapella harmony singing open for women who need their singing fix without having to join a regular choir or commit to any performances. In this way these workshops cater for busy lives, being time for you at the start of the week rather than trying to fit choir in with everything else later in your week.
We'll sing pieces by, or arranged by living women composers and delve in to a rich seam of work across all genres ( folk, blues, pop, world) which relates to women's experience and also dip in to excerpts and songs from Feisty Choir's repertoire.
Teaching will be by ear so you do not need to be a music-reader. Teaching will be relatively fast-paced and active so you'll achive surprising and rewarding results in one session as well as build on skills for longer songs over several weeks.

This choir is not for beginners or for anyone who is uncertain. There are no solos or auditions but you do need to be able to hold a tune, in tune and move in time. However, many women underestimate their natural ability.
We don't have a long tea- break but do lots of singing instead keeping a tidy session for a Monday night.
Access: Please note most of these meetings will be upstairs and due to the nature of the old school building there is no lift. Loos are downstairs. Bring a bottle of water.
Book individual sessions or for more musical connection and community and to build skills choose the very affordable series.
Don't miss out on this lovely opportunity to sing "untamed acapella", meet others & have fun without a full termly commitment.
Polite notice. If you choose individual days please book each date separately (£11.00) rather than buy multiple tickets.
Booking the series of seven (£58.00) gives you a considerable discount.
