About Justin Somper

Justin Somper is the award-winning author of 11 books for middle-grade and young teen readers. His sequence of six Vampirates books has been published in 35 countries and 25 languages. Justin’s new series, Pirate Academy, is set in the same universe as Vampirates — with some cross-over characters — but the two series can be read independently of each other. Cressida Cowell calls Vampirates ‘a swaggering tale of excitement and adventure that thrills from the first sentence’. Both series are in development to become major TV series.
