Sessions at Stained Glass Vol. 22 | featuring Josh Nelson & Carey Frank

Sessions at Stained Glass is a monthly concert series from the music studio of Peter Smith. For vol. 22, we're continuing the theme of the last concert and featuring two of my favorite fellow keyboard players: Josh Nelson and Carey Frank! Josh is one of the premiere painists in Los Angeles with a wide-ranging career as a solo artist and bandleaded as well as a sideman. The same is true of Carey Frank. Carey and I both play organ as well, so there will be some musical chairs involved this afternoon, all with the masterful support of drummer Joe LaBarbera.

There will be light refreshments served, free of charge.

Stained Glass Music Studio is located in the First Baptist Church of Pasadena. Parking meters are not enforced on Sunday. Alternately, you can park in the garage at 150 E. Holly Street 91101. You can park in any blank spot or any spot marked "First Baptist Church." Bring in your garage ticket for validation. Someone will meet you at the front door on Marengo and guide you upstairs. Important*: there are two short flights from the second floor (8 steps each) up to the studio, which are unavoidable. There is no elevator access to the space itself.
