Sessions at Stained Glass Vol. 18 | "Our Man Higgins" w/ Rob Perkins

Sessions at Stained Glass is a monthly concert series from the music studio of Peter Smith. For vol.18, we will present a tribute to master drummer, Billy Higgins. A former student of Higgins, Rob has toured with Michael Buble, Bobby Watson, Tierney Sutton, The Clayton Brothers, Vanessa Rubin, The Benny Lackner Trio, Ingrid Jensen, and has also performed with Toni Braxton, Wayne Shorter, Herbie Hancock, Terence Blanchard, Eric Reed, Clark Terry, and Jimmy Heath. Rounding out the group will be Dmitry Gorodetsky (bass), Peter Smith (piano), Josh Brown (tb), Rickey Woodard (sax), and Aaron Janik (tpt).

There will be light refreshments served, free of charge.

Stained Glass Music Studio is located in the First Baptist Church of Pasadena. Parking meters are not enforced on Sunday. Alternately, you can park in the garage at 150 E. Holly Street 91101. You can park in any blank spot or any spot marked "First Baptist Church." Bring in your garage ticket for validation. Someone will meet you at the front door on Marengo and guide you upstairs. Important*: there are two short flights from the second floor (8 steps each) up to the studio, which are unavoidable. There is no elevator access to the space itself.
