Join SESD SHRM at the River Rock Center to support NDEAM during their National Disability Employment Awareness Month. During this session, there will be a variety of speakers focusing on resources, programs, and supports in the community to employ individuals with different abilities. From opportunities to hire these individuals to retaining and providing necessary accommodations to help them keep employment, this panel of speakers are experts in this field.
Come on out and join us for this session! It will be a great opportunity to learn how you can recognize this group and support employment opportunities for individuals with special abilities.

She has been assisting individuals with employment for over 20 years in southeast South Dakota. She will speak on her experience and knowledge.
Jill Wermers
She has been assisting individuals with disabilities with finding and retaining employment for many years. Jill and the supported employment department at Ability Building Services provides support for both businesses and individuals with disabilities to find a perfect match.
Julie Dykstra
She is with the SD Department of Labor & Regulations and assists businesses and job seekers with services to help them meet their employment needs.
Brett Crosby
He is an Assistive Technology Specialist who specializes in finding assistive technology solutions to help individuals and businesses meeting their maximum potential. Brett provides assessments and can provide technical assistance/information to help problem solve to help individuals perform at their full abilities.
