Lehigh Valley Public Media is going on an adventure! Join us for a preview screening of Sesame Street and the Great Elephant Adventure. We’ll see Elmo, Abby and Nina travel to the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust in Kenya to meet their newly adopted elephant and her caring keepers!
Hear from Sheldrick Wildlife Trust’s Education Coordinator, Cynthia Alarcon and Founder of Joshway, David Robertson in an interactive presentation. After the screening, you can adopt your very own elephant and enjoy free, exciting animal crafts.
About the show
Join Elmo and the Sesame Street friends on a once-in-a-lifetime African safari adventure. After adopting an orphaned elephant online, Elmo, Abby and Nina travel to The Sheldrick Wildlife Trust in Kenya to meet the young elephant and the keepers who care for her. In Sesame Street’s first-ever safari, our friends embark on an unforgettable journey of discovery, taking them from the caring confines of the elephant sanctuary to the unpredictable African bush, where they come face to face with some of nature’s most iconic wildlife, including lions, zebras, giraffes and hippos. Presented in collaboration with Sesame Workshop.
