About this Event
ServSafe® is a nationally recognized program developed by the National Restaurant Association, that provides food safety training, exams and educational materials to food service managers.
Food Service Managers who need to be a certified food protection manager. The Colorado Retail Food Establishment Rules and Regulations state that “at least one employee with authority to direct and control food preparation and service shall be a food protection manager who has been certified by an accredited program.” This course meets those needs. Class space is limited. Registration is on a first come first serve basis.
This training comes with a study guide, 1 - day training (in-person) in Alamosa, lunch and proctored exam. Study guides are also available in Spanish, Chinese, and Korean. Should you desire a language other than English, please contact Janae at [email protected] 719-852-7381.
Day 1: 8:30 am - 4:30 pm (class), 4:30 pm - 6:30 pm (exam)
You have 2 hours to complete the exam; you may or may not need all of this time. However, please plan your schedule for the day assuming you will.
Please pick up your book from the SLV Area Extension Office, 1899 U.S. 160 East, Monte Vista, CO or pay an additional $11.00 to have it mailed to you.
NOTE: Class will be taught in English. Tests can be taken in English or Spanish.
