About this Event
ServSafe is a course designed by the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation to provide food service operators, managers, and support personnel with the knowledge essential for food preparation and handling within their respective facilities to help reduce the risk of foodborne illness. The course covers handling food, from receiving and storing to preparing and serving. It gives science-based information on how to run a safe establishment.
The 14-hour class will be scheduled as follows:
November 13th Instruction Day 8:30 am to 3:00 pm
November 14th Instruction Day 8:30 am to 3:00 pm
November 17th Exam Day 9:00 am - 11:00 pm
Test Registration cost is $125 (which includes the 7th edition book and exam sheet.)

Registration Deadline is November 1st, 2024 by 5:00 pm
To register complete the online registration and payment. We are accepting cash and check payments in addition to paying via credit card through Eventbrite. Please, make checks payable to Chowan County Cooperative Extension. Checks and cash payments can be received at the Chowan Extension Office located at 730 N. Granville Street Suite A, Edenton NC 27932 by Nov. 1st. Class size is limited and full registration, including payment, is required to hold your spot.
