About this Event
In this class students will make their very own wooden and epoxy "Mini River" table that can be used as a center piece, serving platter, charcuterie board, or as a wonderful display of custom art. Boards will range in size, but average 36" x 14" x 3/4" when completed. Students will cut their own unique "river" shape using the wood provided for the class. Students will then learn how to properly seal the mold that will be provided for the class, followed by clamping their wooden pieces securely to the mold. The real fun stuff begins when students mix up deep pour epoxy and choose from the many colors of pigment provided in the class. After 3-4 days, once the epoxy has cured and hardened, students may schedule a return appointment to surface the boards to a thickness of around 3/4" thick, sand, and finish with a food-contact safe finish (approximately 2 hours)..
