About the Group – Seriously Funny Business:
Seriously Funny Business is a sketch comedy collective devoted to creating original, character-driven comedy that’s as sharp as it is joyful. Made up entirely of New England performers, the group thrives on collaboration, bringing together writers and actors who develop their own sketches, characters, and concepts from the ground up. The result is comedy that feels personal, unpredictable, and unapologetically fun. The group operates under Chadanm Productions, a Rhode Island–based production company founded by Chad Moores that focuses on original theatrical work, comedy, and new voices. While Chadanm Productions produces full-length plays, and special events, Seriously Funny Business is its sketch-comedy arm—a space where fast ideas, big characters, and creative risks are encouraged. Together, they share the same mission: to build original work, foster community, and remind audiences that comedy can be smart, fearless, and seriously funny.
