This is an all day event so that people have time to play longer or multiple games.
Please bring a snack or potluck contribution, and/or put a donation in the cauldron next to the front door. We have over 400 games, but feel free to bring your favorite to share. Feel free to pass on invites to partners and friends you think would fit the event. The hot tub and pool are both working, but the pool is not heated this week.

If you haven't been to a Serendipity event before, or you haven't been to an event in the last month, Please read through the following information:
Feel free to bring your own games. We have found some of our best games by having people bring over games to share with everyone!
Take the initiative!!! Propose a game you want to play, start a conversation, ask if people want to swim, do the thing! If there is something you want to do, ask! People can't say yes if you don't ask!
Consent is paramount. If people say no, take it kindly and don't pester. The flipside to having a culture that encourages people to be comfortable asking for what they want, they also have to be comfortable in getting or giving a no or a yes.
We are LGBTQIAK+. We are inclusive and open minded. We don't require that you be, but we do not tolerate discrimination, bullying, hateful or continued insensitive behavior, or general intolerance.
We are largely a Pagan community. You don't need to be, especially at social events, but please realize that most people here are pagan, but not all are. Religious intolerance or bashing is not ok in either direction. Conversation, yes, bashing, no.
Food is potluck style, with Serendipity providing a main meat dish and one side. We try to announce in the comments by Wednesday what the main dish will be so that people can coordinate. Standard rule of thumb is to bring enough for the people you are bringing with a little bit extra, and everyone will have enough. We have a coffee machine and a Soda Stream that people are free to use for drinks. BYOB if you wish, but we ask that you drink responsibly or plan on crashing if you are drinking.
We believe in having a fair exchange of energy for events. It takes money, time, and resources to run events. We ask that people give back a fair exchange, but we are happy if that is in time, helping clean up or prep before an event, in resources, like bringing food, or in money, donations can be left in the cauldron in the foyer. Keeping the pool going, and the coffee pot full for groups of 30 is not free, and cleaning up weekly after 30 guest can be daunting without help. Every little bit helps. 10 - 20 minutes and/or 5$ dollars from everyone adds up quickly as well.
The pool and hot tub are freely available, and we have loaner swim suits and towels downstairs in the hall closet. Feel free to bring your own suit and towel though.
After 9pm, the downstairs, the pool, and the hot tub are adults only. People tend to change in the downstairs. No one under 18 is allowed downstairs, on the back porch, in the pool or hot tub after 9pm.
