Merced, CA — The Merced Symphony invites the community to an intimate evening of chamber music on Thursday, March 19 at 6:00 PM with Serenading Strings, performed by the Merced Symphony String Quartet.Drawing from the artistic leadership and musicianship at the core of the Merced Symphony Orchestra, the quartet features longtime Concertmaster Julie Kim (violin I) and principal violinist Rebecca Wishnia (violin II)—both consistent presences throughout the Symphony’s season—joined by accomplished artists Ivo Bokulić (viola) and Samsun van Loon (cello).
Guided by the artistic vision of Maestro Ming Luke, an internationally recognized conductor whose distinguished career spans symphonic, ballet, opera, and educational programs across the United States and abroad, the ensemble reflects the Symphony’s enduring commitment to artistic excellence and expressive performance.
