Serati is a musical artist, writer, and activist from Johannesburg utilising the mediums of music, poetry, and stage performance to communicate ideas, to explore the human condition, to express emotion, and to hold a mirror to humanity. Serati brings a unique blend of indie-inspired guitar, soulful vocals, and introspective lyrics; with the indigenous sounds of marimba and the mbira to the Selective Live stage. Her performances are designed to take you on a journey of your innermost self, as well as through the different lands that have inspired her work.
