Sequins and Songs, the social event for barbershop quartets and quartet lovers, will return in 2026! This is always a great opportunity to network with other fans of a cappella harmony singing, and ring some chords.
Quartets and small groups at all levels are welcome to perform 1-2 songs to gain performance experience in front of a supportive audience. No judging, no prizes, just the thrill of performing and a great sense of achievement. We welcome ensembles with members of any gender. You don't need to sing barbershop arrangements either - anything goes!
If you love live music but aren't in a quartet (or your quartet isn't available on this date), please come along and enjoy the show! Family and friends are welcome too.
Bookings are open now via our website! Numbers are limited, so share this event with your singing friends to make sure they don't miss out!
Doors will open at 2.45pm - no need to bring your ticket, as we'll have a door list with the names of all ticket-holders. Tickets are non-refundable, but may be transferred to another person.
The venue is Upper Mt Gravatt Progress Hall. The Mt Gravatt Bowls Club is right next door, for anyone who wishes to stay after the event for some more social time.
