Sequential Scotland 2026

Sequential Scotland is a comic convention coming to Glasgow on Saturday 8th of August 2026. The convention will spotlight Scotland and the UK's amazing independent comic creators and micro-publishers, while creating a welcoming space for veterans and newbies alike to mix. The event will feature free workshops and talks, as well as cosplay and art competitions, with prizes kindly donated by our event sponsor Cass Art.

Freelance artist Chris Lau Manson takes us through the challenges of creating art that's just for you. In conversation with other working artists, they will explore how to make work that is yours, how to protect that unique identity, and how to connect with people who really love your work.

Join festival founder Faye Stacey in a discussion with Marielle Bouleau from Blue Fox Comics, and Steven Ingram from ThirdBear Press. The discussion will explore the journeys that they have been on as comics publishers, and give some insight into the high points and challenges along the way.
