Ellen’s Bio:
Ellen Sears was a classroom teacher for 33 years teaching art, math, and literacy through the arts. After leaving the classroom she worked at the state level with teachers and districts on best practices in math and literature. For the past 10 years she has been using her phone to document dawn at Beckley Creek Park and posting to Instagram and Facebook. You can find her work under the account ellen
In addition to her daily walks, she enjoys painting quarter-sized landscapes, creating through play, and volunteering.
