Each year since 2020, thousands of books in local library collections across the country are challenged by community members and partisan organizations. Ever wonder why these books were chosen in the first place?Join the Northern Kentucky Forum as we host a panel of local library leaders to explain how they cultivate their library collections. They will give insight into the selection criteria and review process behind each book that ends up on the library shelf.
Panelists include: Dave Schroeder, Library Director of KCPL, Carrie Herrmann, Executive Director of BCPL, Brianna Marshall, Dean of NKU’s Steely Library, and Valerie Davis, Branch Manager of CCPL.
September is National Library Card Sign Up month! Make sure to get a library card if you don’t already have one!
