September Sketch Meet

Inland Seas Education Association is hosting us at Leo Creek Preserve as part of their “Walk and Sketch the Wetlands”program open to the public. They will do a guided pretalk, introducing our sketch group to participants and will discuss ways to use iNaturalist to inform and enhance our observation skills, we will select and sketch our areas of interest. It’s a short paved trail walk from parking, some natural paths and wood plank paths along the creek. The gardens will have some seating available. You are welcome to bring your own portable seating.
What to bring:
Comfortable walking shoes
Reusable water bottle
Portable seat (There are a few picnic tables and seats available in the garden)
Art supplies
Where to meet:
We will be meeting at the north entrance of Leo Creek Preserve at 10 a.m.
Parking:
Leo Creek Preserve is located a few steps off the Leelanau Trail outside of Suttons Bay. Parking is available at the 4th Street Trailhead.
