Join us in September as we learn all about our caprine ambassadors. We’ll be discussing goat anatomy, billy vs nanny goats, and answer the question: why do some goats have horns, and some do not? We’ll visit with our Ash and Spruce and wrap up our class with a tasting of goat milk and goat cheese! Recommended ages 8+. Online registration is required. Non-members $5/person. Members are FREE.
Meet inside the center; parking is at the Fayette County Library in the back left of the parking lot. There is a flag that marks the entry to the short trail that will lead you up to the nature center.
