For over five decades, Phil has performed, taught, and preserved the art of traditional dance and music across the U.S. and abroad.
Mr. Jamison will be discussing his acclaimed book, Hoedowns, Reels, and Frolics: Roots and Branches of Southern Appalachian Dance, sharing the fascinating history behind the dances, steps, and reels that have shaped our mountain culture.
