✨SPECIAL EVENTS✨
- Stormy Sips:
Downtown is brewing up a storm of fun with Stormy Sips, a weather-themed cocktail crawl where participants can sip on fun drinks! Complete your passport and get fun prizes. Plus, head to the First Friday information tent on Poplar Street and be entered in a raffle to win an Emergency Weather Radio. Drink specials will be released soon!
- First Street Art & Wine Festival:
Sip, swirl, and soak in the creativity as downtown Macon transforms into a hub of flavor and artistry for the First Street Art & Wine Festival, September 5–7th. Over three days, First Street will come alive with wine tastings, art classes, live music, and a bustling artist market.

- Macon Arts Alliance (486 1st Street), 4-7 pm
The Macon Arts Alliance is excited to present "Overgrown," an exhibit of artwork by Casie Trace, with an artist talk at 6 pm.
- The 567 Center for Renewal (456 1st St), 5-8 pm
Join us for the opening reception of "Humanity... and Other Myths," an exhibit of artwork by Darlene Murphy. See the new exhibit, meet the artist, and enjoy refreshments. Artist talk at 7 pm.
- McEachern Art Center (332 2nd St), 4-8 pm
The McEachern gallery will be open for visitors to see the exhibit "Ocmulgee to Okmulgee."
-Wesleyan College Leadership Lab (522 Cherry St), 5-8 pm
The Leadership Lab presents an exhibit of artwork by William Downs.
-Gallery West (447 3rd St), 5-9 pm
Gallery West presents Macon painter David C. Jensen in a First Friday art show opening. David is a graphic designer who now paints the Middle Georgia flora and fauna and birds with his own brand of weirdness. Come by to meet the artist and enjoy complimentary hors d'oeuvres and libations.
-Sheridan Studios (586 Poplar St), 6-9 pm
Sheridan Studios presents the “Good for the Soul” exhibit featuring new works by various artists, including students at Cornerstone Academy of Art & Design, soul music, and refreshments.
-Lore Gallery (6-9), 505 2nd St, Macon, GA 3120
Lore Gallery is a unique cultural art space with a mission to provide a platform for indigenous people of Central and South America to showcase their handcrafted work. The gallery focuses on artistry that tells the stories of indigenous culture and history passed down through generations, with profits being distributed back to the tribes when possible. They are open every First Friday and offer 10% off deals and refreshments.
ENTERTAINMENT
- Don't miss the premiere of "Into the Woods" at Macon Little Theater! The show opens on First Friday, September 5th at 8PM. Join us for a spellbinding journey as classic fairy tale characters cross paths in unexpected ways, facing wishes, consequences, and the reality of "happily ever after." With a rich score, humor, and heartfelt moments, this enchanting production explores the magic and challenges of life, reminding us to be careful what you wish for.
-JBA joins the First Friday festivities each month with its signature themed events featuring live entertainment and a vibrant atmosphere.
- Rose Room will have a DJ mixing vinyls every First Friday so you can enjoy a craft cocktail with great music.

- Wellness Hug: A new yoga studio is opening in downtown Macon! You can head to this business's open house this First Friday. They are located at 476 Third St Suite 2, Macon, GA.
