Creative Community Mixer: Meet the Authors
Join us for an inspiring evening celebrating storytelling and creativity at our free Creative Community Mixer on Thursday 17 September, 6–8pm, at The Fold.
The evening will feature a fascinating panel discussion hosted by writer Hannah Albone, bringing together a diverse group of authors to share their experiences of writing, publishing and building a creative career.
Hear from Rosie Pickering, an independent children's author passionate about inspiring young readers; Jen Flannery, founder of Secret Writing Retreats, who helps writers find the space and confidence to develop their craft; and award-winning science fiction and fantasy author Allen Stroud, whose extensive career spans novels, games, screenwriting and higher education.
Whether you're an aspiring writer, an avid reader or simply curious about the creative process, this is a fantastic opportunity to hear honest insights from experienced authors, ask questions and connect with fellow creatives in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.
