September 2026 Sew Crazy Meeting

September is Sew Crazy's birthday month - along with National Sewing Month . This year we will be having a Sit & Sew event to make 100 mastectomy aprons . This project is the only annual item we make . Sew Crazy has been making these aprons for 16 years ! They are used by both men & women . They will be donated locally - as we have always done.
The kits are cut- we just need folks to bring their sewing machines & basic sewing tools and join us for a few hours to sew !
Note : Sadly, this year we will NOT be having anyone pick up kits and sew elsewhere . This is due to finished aprons coming back past the due date or, never at all . Time and energy goes into preparing the kits and we count on all to be returned.
We are having a party to celebrate 16 years at lunch ! Come join us for : pizza, salad , and.....birthday cake !
You do not need to be a member to attend and there is NO cost.
