SEPTEMBER MEMBER’S MEETING
Our 2026–2027 dahlia season starts here!
Join us for the first Dahlia Society of Victoria meeting of the season. Whether you’re a seasoned exhibitor or just getting ready to plant your first tuber, everyone’s welcome.
After a short break over Winter (Jun - Aug), our FIRST Members Meeting for the new growing season will be held on Thursday
17 Sep 2026 at 7.30pm.
If you are new to growing dahlias or want to start growing dahlias and are unsure of what is involved, then this meeting is for you!
This meeting includes our famous Tuber Clump sale where our members are offered the option to buy a raffle ticket to choose a complete dahlia clump to take home. Dahlia tubers can then be planted out in Spring. This is a great way to get started on your dahlia growing journey or to add to your collection.
Our Guest Speaker is Keith Edwards. With over 40 years of experience in landscape garden design, that began as Curator of Toorak College, Keith brings a unique blend of passion to every Garden Project he touches. He is renowned for his expertise, creative vision, and sustainable approach to gardening and has transformed countless outdoor spaces across Australia.
Keith is host of Australia’s largest gardening podcast “Muddy Boots Podcast” and shares his extensive knowledge with listeners offering practical hands-on advice, seasonal tips, and access to many industry experts.
Please see your eNewsletter closer to the date, for more details, including LIVE streaming links.
Our meeting room opens from 7pm, meeting starts at 7.30pm.
