September 11 Remembrance Ceremony - 25th Anniversary

Join the City of Salisbury, Salisbury Fire Department and Salisbury Police Department as we gather to mark the 25th anniversary of September 11, 2001.
The approximately 30-minute remembrance ceremony will begin at 8:30 a.m. and will honor the lives lost, the first responders and others who answered the call, and the families and communities forever changed by that day.
The ceremony will include a Presentation of Colors, invocation, brief remarks of remembrance, musical reflection and a moment of silence. At 8:46 a.m., the ceremonial fire bell will be rung 25 times to mark the moment the first plane struck the North Tower of the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001.
As part of the 25th anniversary observance, 25 memorial trees will also be planted, creating a living memorial in honor of those we remember.
