In this class, I and the participants will be making our own designs, then carving them into linoleum blocks that can then be printed onto paper, either by hand using a baren or with a hand press. I will be demonstrating the entire process step by step, from drawing, to carving, to printing.
For anyone who doesn’t know what what to draw or what they want to design, I will be providing a selection of drawings they can use for inspiration, kinda like a book of tattoo flash.
After the class, participants can not only take home their prints, but their carved block and supplies!
