Sentimental Value

Sentimental Value (2025), directed by Joachim Trier, is a Norwegian drama following estranged sisters Nora and Agnes, who must reconnect with their narcissistic, famous filmmaker father, Gustav (Stellan Skarsgård), after their mother's death. Gustav attempts a comeback by casting a young Hollywood star (Elle Fanning) in a deeply autobiographical film about his traumatic childhood and his own failings as a parent, forcing his daughters to confront their past.
