Sensual Konpa Dance Class & After Party offers participants a dance class followed by an after party to practice their skills. All levels are welcomed!

Ladies learn the basics of sensual Konpa steps, different gouyad (or whine) variations and short sexy Konpa choreography to bring out your inner konpa dancer. Afterwords, the dance floor is yours to perform, dance with a partner or dance confidently alone!

With the influence and fusion of Afrobeat and Dancehall, Konpa music is experiencing a shift as should Konpa dance. Ingest the beautiful rhythms and melodies of Haitian music through sensual movement. It's a perfect class for an experienced dancer to build their confidence as they dance Konpa and for an inexperienced Konpa dancer to connect with their body through Konpa music.
