About this Event
Join us for a free, sensory-friendly holiday celebration at the Illinois Autism Center on Thursday, December 11th, 2025, from 5:30–7:30 PM!
This event is open to the public and created especially for families of children with autism and related developmental differences. Instead of crowded malls and long lines, families can enjoy a calm, welcoming environment designed with sensory needs in mind.
Children can visit with Santa Wayne, the official Santa for Macy’s and Lincoln Park Zoo, who has years of experience working with children with autism and related disorders. Before or after their visit, families are welcome to explore our play-based therapy center, filled with toys, movement areas, and plenty of space to play and relax.
Pizza is included for dinner and completely free.
