Enjoy a special sensory friendly planetarium show! Cosmic Colors will take you on a wondrous journey across the entire electromagnetic spectrum. Discover the many reasons for color—like why the sky is blue and why Mars is red. Take a tour within a plant leaf and journey inside the human eye. Investigate x-rays by voyaging to a monstrous black hole and then back at your doctor’s office. You will even see the actual color of a dinosaur--based on recent evidence. Get ready for an amazing adventure under a rainbow of cosmic light! Closed captions available upon request. Watch a trailer here:
Each show will be followed by a live presentation of Tonight’s Sky.
Second Saturday Sensory Friendly Shows are possible thanks to our partner the Masonic Children's Clinic.
Tickets can be purchased online or at the door.
To purchase tickets in advance visit https://www.tickets.umn.edu/UMDMWAP/Online/
Doors open 30 minutes before showtime.
There is no food or drinks allowed in the planetarium.
Please have proof of purchase ready to show at the door.
UMD students will also be required to show their Student ID.

$8 Adults (age 13-59)
$5 Seniors (age 60+), Kids (age 3-12), UMD Students
Kids 2 and under are free
