The Autism Society of Southeastern Wisconsin and the Harley Davidson Museum have partnered to create a FREE Sensory Friendly experience for museum guests of all ages! During this session, existing exhibits will be modified to reduce lighting and noise. With these modifications and a reduced capacity, individuals will have the opportunity to interact with exhibits in a way that best meets their sensory needs. What makes these sessions sensory friendly?
· Exhibits are modified with reduced sound and lighting.
· A quiet space will be available to regulate or calm.
· Signs will be placed around the museum to indicate no touch areas, interactive exhibits, and possibly louder zones.
· Capacity for this event will be limited.
· Extra headphones available around noisier exhibits
· We are asking families to bring their Sensory Go Bags but will have a limited number available if needed.
· Custom social story and map.
Exclusive member perk for members of the Autism Society of Southeastern Wisconsin!
