Sensory-Friendly Friday Afternoons | 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Every Friday afternoon, the museum offers a calm, welcoming experience designed for visitors with sensory sensitivities. During these hours, there is no music, no bright or flashing lights, and attendance is limited to ensure a peaceful environment.
Guests are welcome to explore at their own pace using fun field note zines throughout the exhibit. Many items throughout are touch-friendly, and stimming is always welcome here. Animal interactions are available based on staff and animal availability.
The main floor is fully accessible for visitors with disabilities. For additional accommodations, call 312-961-7219.
