Sensory-Friendly Family Skate Night
Please join us for a Back to School Private Event!
The Benton-Franklin Counties Special Education PTA in partnership with The Arc of Tri-Cities is excited to invite families to a Sensory-Friendly Family Skate Night at Rollarena Skating Center!
Enjoy an evening of skating in a welcoming, inclusive environment at a reduced rate. This private event is open to individuals of all ages and abilities, along with their families, friends, and caregivers. Please thank the Rollarena while you're there!
Event Details
Date: Thursday, September 10, 2026
Time: 5:30 to 7:30 PM
Location: 849 Stevens Dr. Richland, Washington 99352
Cost: $7 per skater - (includes admission, quad skates, and a skate trainer if needed and available). Skate trainers are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Rollerblades: Additional $2
Sensory-Friendly Event Features
Reduced music volume throughout the event
No flashing lights
During the second hour, black lights will be turned on
Parents, caregivers and support staff are welcome to walk on the skating floor to assist skaters as needed
Mobility devices are welcome
Toy scooters, ride-on toys, bicycles, or similar equipment are not permitted unless needed for mobility

¡La Asociación de Padres y Maestros de Educación Especial de los Condados de Benton-Franklin (BFCSEPTA), en colaboración con The Arc of Tri-Cities, se complace en invitar a las familias a una Noche Familiar de Patinaje Sensorial en Rollarena Skating Center!
Disfrute de una tarde de patinaje en un ambiente acogedor e inclusivo. Este evento privado está abierto a personas de todas las edades y habilidades, junto con sus familias, amigos y cuidadores.

Lugar: 849 Stevens Dr., Richland, WA 99352
Costo: $7 por patinador (incluye la entrada, patines de cuatro ruedas y un entrenador de patinaje, si es necesario y está disponible). Los entrenadores de patinaje son limitados y están disponibles por orden de llegada.
Patines en línea (rollerblades): $2 adicionales
Características del Evento Sensorial
Volumen de la música reducido durante todo el evento.
No habrá luces intermitentes.
