Sensory-Friendly Evening at the Garden: Exploring Leaf Shapes

Join us outside of public hours for a sensory-friendly evening inspired by the variety of plant leaves at the U.S. Botanic Garden. You can explore different leaf shapes through sight and touch and even learn about the unique leaves of carnivorous plants. Interactive activities will be offered at this program.
Intended Audience: Sensory Friendly. Sensory-friendly events provide museum access to individuals with autism, cognitive and sensory processing disabilities and their families by offering early/late entrance for registered participants, pre-visit materials, and a take-a-break space. These programs are coordinated to facilitate a welcoming experience.
