Join us outside of public hours for a sensory-friendly evening inspired by the variety of plant leaves at the U.S. Botanic Garden. You can explore different leaf shapes and discover how leaves make carnivorous plants so unique. Interactive activities will be offered at this program.
Intended Audience: Sensory-Friendly Event. Sensory-friendly events provide museum access to individuals with autism, cognitive and sensory processing disabilities and their families by offering early/late entrance for registered participants, pre-visit materials, and a take-a-break space. These programs are coordinated to facilitate a welcoming experience.
