Sensorialle is an immersive evening designed to engage the senses through creative cuisine, atmospheric arts, and community connection. Blending food, music, poetry, and visual art, the experience invites attendees to slow down, savor the moment, and explore new conversations in a thoughtfully curated environment.

The evening will bring together an eclectic cross‑section of the Boulder County community and beyond. Sensorialle aims to spark curiosity, deepen connection, and highlight some of the region’s most creative culinary and artistic voices.

The event will take place at Junkyard Social Club, an intergenerational community space dedicated to imagination, creativity, and collaboration. Built on the ethos of "build from nothing, reuse everything," Junkyard Social fosters curiosity, critical thinking, creative expression, and open conversation. The space regularly hosts community programming that celebrates experimentation, learning, and playful engagement.

The evening’s menu will be designed by Executive Chef Arun Astraelis, whose culinary background includes work with internationally acclaimed restaurants as Culinary Director for Skenes Group in Los Angeles, Saison in San Francisco, Borago in Santiago, and Blackbelly and Santo Boulder. Chef Arun brings a refined-yet approachable style rooted in seasonal ingredients and bold creativity.

Seasonal, organic, and sustainably grown ingredients will be sourced from Boulder County farmers to create a fresh and vibrant dining experience. Each course will be paired with carefully curated artistic performances that enhance the flow of the evening and create a multisensory journey.

Guests will be welcomed with passed appetizers and a choice of sparkling wine or a non‑alcoholic sparkling alternative. Soft music will set a calm and inviting atmosphere as attendees arrive. Throughout the venue, guests will experience original fine art displays and live creative expression.

An exhibition of original works by local artist Catherine Pistone will be displayed throughout the space. Catherine’s work is inspired by her beautiful Boulder home at the base of the foothills. “I believe in feeling inspired and sharing happiness: by creating art I invite you to participate.”

Guests will also have the opportunity to receive Impromptu Typewriter Poetry created live by Z Bass, Lafayette’s first Poet Laureate. Z, the poet with the copper voice is a multi-award-winning twin spirited indigenous spoken word artist.

Guests will then gather at communal dining tables designed to encourage connection and shared experience. Each place setting will include a thoughtfully designed conversation card to spark dialogue and deeper interaction among attendees. Optional wine and non‑alcoholic pairings will be available for each course.

The evening’s culinary experience begins with a family‑style seasonal salad course. Following the first course, artistic vignettes will begin with a live performance by Boulder native singer‑songwriter Wellington Bullings, whose music blends classic soul, R&B, and jazz while exploring themes of empowerment, love, heartbreak, and self‑discovery.

The main course will follow, allowing guests to continue community conversation and shared dining. This is followed by poet Z Bass performing a series of original poems reflecting on social awareness, care for the earth, unity, and diversity.

The evening concludes with a delectable dessert course and a final breathtaking finale: a live fire and flow dance performance by Tyler Chic and friends. This visually striking finale will ignite creativity, expression, and shared human experience.
Sensorialle will donate 10% of ticket sales to non-profit partner Boulder Food Rescue (BFR). Partnering with BFR will bring awareness about Boulder's food insecurity issues and help the audience discover ways in which they can help mitigate these challenges.
