Welcome to SenseZen Arts, where creativity meets conservation in Orangetown, NY. Situated within the serene Sallie D. Marie Meadows Bird Sanctuary in Pearl River, our sessions offer a calming, low-pressure environment open to all children ages 6 and above.Designed as a mindful alternative to high-energy camps, this 45-minute experience allows small groups of 3–4 children to explore color, texture, and the natural world at their own pace. Open to everyone, our sensory-sensitive design ensures a gentle, regulated atmosphere where imagination thrives amidst the birds and botanicals of Rockland County.
A Sanctuary for Creativity (Sensory-Mindful Guidelines)
To maintain the integrity of this nature exploration summer program, we curate the environment to be quiet and grounding for all guests:
Digital Detox: Phones are not permitted during programming. We kindly ask that you step away to take calls.
Quiet Comfort: We encourage soft-soled shoes and noise-free clothing to help children remain present.
Soundscapes: Ambient, meditative audio is available upon request to support focus.

Families seeking extended art programs for kids are encouraged to explore Strawtown’s nature camps and "Earth Art" after-school series in Nyack and Sleepy Hollow, which share our commitment to connecting youth with the Hudson Valley landscape.
